A file can be given a custom path. This is handy for things like .well-known/ files. Here's a reference to a file as an inline file record with a custom path: custom-path.pdf (PDF, 6.92 kB) . And here it is as an external link to /my-files/path/custom-path.pdf so that it doesn't force a download, but shows the url in the browser.
